It's Official Cody is a Maue!!!

Today we went back to the Civil Affairs Office to do the adoption registration and notary. It all went pretty quick. We get a family picture taken for the Adoption Registration. Then and interview with the registry officials. Next another interview the the Notary . They ask you questions like are you happy with this child. Do you promise to take care of and never abandon him. Really easy to answer yes to. They both then asked Cody some questions and said he is very happy. It just amazes me at how happy he seems. He always has a smile on his face and laughs a lot. This morning while I was in the shower Dave and Cody decided to go out in the hall and play with a little remote control car that the Stellwagen family had sent along for him. Well when they wanted to come back in the key would not work and I was in the shower. They had to go down to the front desk to get a new key. Well neither one had shoes on and Cody thought that was the funniest thing ever. Ok back to the day. After making it official our guide jocelyn took us to Walmart to get a few things. I really needed to pick up a few things for Cody but the boys section was very small. We picked up a few drinks and snacks and headed back to the hotel. We then went down to the pool Cody decided he would try swimming for the first time. It took awhile to get him in but after a few min. didn't want to get out. I am sure we will be back to the pool. Our guide ended up getting a room here so she is around a little more for us if we need her. There are two other CCAI guides staying in the hotel along with a pretty big group. They are about a week ahead of us. The guides invited us out to dinner with their group tonight to a Chinese restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. We met a couple of really nice families and enjoyed the company. The food was good too. It's a beautiful night very comfortable walking. We are now back to the room and settled in. I think we will all go to be a little early. I am hoping to sleep through the night tonight. Tomorrow we meet our guide at 1:00 to go to the medical exam building. Then at 3:00 we need to go to the passport agency to apply for Cody's passport. Cody has been amazingly cooperative and so happy. You can so tell he has been wanting a family for so long. I know we were meant to be that family and it's all in God's perfect timing.

Look at Cody's eyes so funny

Why do they even have to put this sign out? Shouldn't that be common sence?
